In the award-winning novel, Kitane Pakistan, the author has tried to break the boundaries of history and geography. It foregrounds the problems and concerns confronted by real human beings. In the novel, which is, at one level, a deep intellectual discourse, there is a quest into the heart of national and international issues. For its deep insight into history, upholding of human values and universal concern, the work is considered a modern epic adding handsomely to Indian fiction in Hindi. |
